My Philosophy
We are all entitled to feel good about ourselves and the world we live in. Sometimes we lose that ability. My work focuses on restoring the ability to participate fully in life.
As a clinical psychotherapist and executive coach, I work with individuals, couples and teams from a diverse range of backgrounds. My focus is to provide a safe, confidential and supportive space where clients can express themselves without judgement.
I help individuals to recognise their strengths, articulate their purpose and develop the skills needed to be the best person they can be. By guiding clients to connect with themselves and draw on their innate abilities, they can feel proud and confident with what they achieve.
The difficulties I work with include:
- Burnout
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Depression
- Substance use & Addictions
- Relationships
- Bereavement
- Low self-esteem
- Trauma
- Finding meaning & purpose
Therapy sessions are typically one hour in duration. I work with clients on a short term or open ended basis dependent upon the client’s preference and presenting concern. The first session is used to explore and agree upon the best way to proceed. There is no contract and the client controls the frequency and period of therapy.
Effective therapy requires a trusting and comfortable relationship between the client and therapist. I encourage potential clients to contact me for an introductory conversation to help determine if I am the right therapist for them.
I work face-to-face, by telephone or online with a choice of platforms.
My city practice is located at Level 7, Suite 702, Park House 187-191 Macquarie Street, Sydney. I also see clients on the upper North Shore.
